Job Title: Painter
Job Description

As a Painter, you will be responsible for selecting appropriate paint or mixing paints using automated equipment. You will operate hand-held spray guns or other mechanized painting equipment, paint small items, and perform touch-ups using brushes. Additionally, you will use related equipment such as forklifts, hoists, grinders, and hand tools to ensure a high-quality finish.

Responsibilities

• Select and mix paints using automated paint mixing equipment.
• Operate spray guns and other mechanized painting equipment.
• Paint small items and perform touch-ups using paint brushes.
• Utilize related equipment, including forklifts, hoists, grinders, and hand tools.
• Complete preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Read and follow job order specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Maintain work performance in accordance with standards and specifications.
• Participate in process and product development, improvement programs, and safety committees.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.

• 1+ year of industrial painting experience
• 1+ years of spray painting experience
• 1+ years of grinding experience
• Experience with blueprint reading

• Experience with industrial painting tools such as spray guns, paint booths, and sandblasting.

The work environment is a laid-back fabrication shop where music is played, and teamwork is encouraged. Safety is a priority, with personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, safety glasses, safety boots with metatarsal guards, and face shields required. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
