Job Title: Mold Operator
Job Description

Safely and efficiently pour molten aluminum into molds in accordance with established quality criteria and guidelines to ensure the integrity of the castings produced.

Responsibilities

• Pour molten aluminum into permanent molds.
• Operate tilt mold machine and apply coating.
• Install pour cups on molds prior to pouring metal.
• Coordinate with melting personnel to assure supply of molten metal prior to pouring.
• Run a band saw to cut gating on castings.
• Assist in the training of co-workers.
• Maintain a good attendance record.
• Keep the work area clean.
• Inspect castings for visual non-conformities and alert appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed production and downtime reports.

• Experience in machine operating, production, foundry, mold making, and casting.

• Ability to follow and abide by all standard operating procedures, work instructions, work rules, safety rules, and employee handbook.

Enjoy a stable work schedule with a 1st shift from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with optional the person on Saturdays. We encourage completing additional hours during weekdays for better work-life balance.

Work Environment

Work in a foundry environment that is hot and Nthe person climate-controlled.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Battle Creek, MI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Battle Creek,MI.
