At Snap-on Saint Joseph, MI, our manufacturing teams turn precision parts into finished products that set the industry standard. As a full-time, hourly Manufacturing Cell Assembler in an ERP-enabled environment, you’ll report to the Production Supervisor (or designee) and keep product moving through assembly, inspection, labeling, and packaging with safety and quality at the forefront.

Your Impact

• Deliver reliable, repeatable assembly by checking fits and fastening parts/subassemblies accurately.
• Keep product flowing: label, palletize, and prepare finished goods for the next stage.
• Maintain safe, organized work areas through daily 5S and housekeeping.
• Execute material transactions and paperwork; update ERP (Epicor preferred) with precision.
• Track inventory levels, anticipate needs, place/expedite orders, and verify receipts.
• Communicate progress and priorities; complete shift production summaries.
• Support team goals and take on additional duties as needed.

What It Takes

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Assembly team background; 1+ year related experience preferred.
• Systems: ERP exposure (Epicor preferred); comfortable with basic computer/data entry.
• Skills: Strong reading/math; follows written and verbal instructions; upholds quality standards.
• Work Style: Self-starter who collaborates well and manages priorities effectively.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs; frequent bending/stooping.
• Stand and walk for 8+ hours; traverse long distances repeatedly.
• Climb step stools/small ladders; perform repetitive fine motor tasks.
