Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated general production workers for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. The role involves working 50-60 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with 10-hour days and every other Saturday for 8-hour days. In December, you may be required to work 3 out of 4 Saturdays. Candidates must demonstrate good attendance, have reliable transportation, and show a history of good tenure.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to shape Structural Insulated Panels following blueprint specifications as part of the finishing process.
• Handle large foam pieces, moving them off the glue line, setting them on plywood, and operating machines to press and set glue.
• Stand and work for 10 hours a day, requiring lots of movement.
• Perform unloading and bundling at the end of the line, checking product quality, wrapping products for shipment, and staging for shipping.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure scheduled shipments are met.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good attendance record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in small groups and show willingness to learn.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
