Commercial Dock and Door Technician
Quantum Lift is seeking Full-Time Door & Dock Field Mechanics for our Warren, MI location. This role will be Monday-Friday, first-shift hours, averaging 40 – 45 hours per week with opportunities for overtime. Our Dock and Door Mechanics are responsible for on-site client installations, repairs, and maintenance of all brands of sectional doors, rolling doors, entry doors, and dock equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, air-powered, and edge-of-dock plates.

Starting compensation ranges from $20-45/hour, depending on experience. Requirements:- Possess a Strong Mechanical Background and Basic Electrical and Hydraulics Understanding
- Minimum of 2 years of Welding Experience
- Can Provide Basic Tools
- Can pass a Drug Screening
- Have Good Customer Relations Skills with Clear and Concise Language Skills
- Enjoy being part of a Team, but can Work Independently
- Utilize Technology such as a Laptop or Tablet
- Have a Valid Driver’s License in Good Standing
- Have a Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Abilities
- Ability to lift 50 pounds due to Lift and Move Functions
Typical Responsibilities of Our Dock and Door Mechanics:
- Diagnose and Repair Industrial Overhead Doors, Dock Levelers, Dock Locks, and other Dock Related Equipment
- Communicating Effectively any Needed Repairs with Customers
- Complete Work Orders in a Timely Manner
- Coordinate with Parts and Service Department Daily
- Keep Work Van Clean and Stocked with Necessary Supplies
- Comply with all Safety Procedures within Quantum Lift's Guidelines
- Consistently and Reliably attend Shift Ready to Work when Scheduled
- Perform any Other Duties as Assigned
