Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM 1:30 AM and some weekends

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Lead / General Cleaner to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. The ideal candidate will have prior cleaning experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of cleaners to ensure high-quality service delivery.

• Train, guide, and mentor team members in following company standards and procedures.

• Assign and schedule cleaning tasks for efficient and timely job completion.

• Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing.

• Handle fueling, driving, and general cleaning tasks for buses as needed.

• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards.

• Communicate with clients to address concerns or special requests.

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs to management.

• Ensure all safety protocols and company policies are consistently followed.

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services required.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train team members.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
