Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Product Owner to join our Federal Learning Development team. This role operates as a fully independent contributor within an Agile learning design environment, responsible for managing product backlog, stakeholder alignment, and delivery of high-quality learning solutions.
The Senior Product Owner plays a critical role in ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations, business objectives, and accessibility standards, including Section 508. In addition to delivery ownership, this role actively supports team development and drives consistency in Agile practices and product quality.
Key Responsibilities

Define, own, and execute product vision and priorities aligned to client and organizational goals

Independently manage and prioritize the product backlog to maximize value and delivery outcomes

Serve as primary liaison between stakeholders and Agile team, ensuring transparency and alignment

Lead backlog refinement and support sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement

Review and approve deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with requirements

Ensure all learning products are Section 508 compliant

Collaborate across Learning Designers, Learning Consultants, Production Managers, and Document Quality Analysts

Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement

Leverage data, feedback, and metrics to drive continuous improvement

Mentor and support junior Product Owners and team members

Promote consistency in Agile practices and team execution
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Instructional Design, or related field (Master's preferred)

5-8 years of relevant experience in Product Ownership, Agile delivery, business analysis, or learning development

Strong experience managing stakeholders and competing priorities in complex environments

Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)

Experience in learning development, healthcare systems, or EHR training preferred

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent preferred

Must be U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Products and related applications

Ability to travel to customer sites, if required (up to 25%)

Ability to work irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
