Part-Time Machine Embroidery & Screen Printing Operator

We are a growing custom apparel business specializing in high-quality decorated garments. Our team is passionate about creativity, craftsmanship, and delivering the best to our customers. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Embroidery & Screen Printing Operator to join us part-time.

Position Summary:
You’ll be responsible for ensuring each garment is decorated to the highest standard of quality, consistency, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Operate multiple commercial embroidery machines and heat presses
• Hoop garments and prepare them for embroidery or printing
• Perform accurate thread and ink color changes as needed
• Monitor machine runs, ensuring correct placement and high-quality output
• Trim, finish, and tag and fold garments with attention to detail
• Maintain equipment and keep the production area organized and clean
• Have a pulse on the workload for each area of decorating
• Assist with other apparel decorating tasks as needed
• Greet customers, and assist in the order intake and check-out processes.
• Answer shop phone, and assist with other shop related tasks

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in machine embroidery and/or screen printing required
• Skilled in hooping garments and working with various fabric types
• MUST HAVE Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time, and lift or move boxes up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable, trustworthy, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience with Wilcom Studios, or Adobe Illustrator a plus
• Basic garment construction or knowledge of fabrics is preferred

Schedule:

• Part-time, flexible hours; no weekends
• 2-3 days per week, start time between 9-11am, end time between 3-6pm

Compensation:

• Hourly rate based on experience; starting at $15/hr
