Our team in Farmington Hills depends on disciplined material flow to hit production and shipping targets. As an Inventory Flow and Materials Handling Technician, you’ll turn plans into action: receiving, storing, delivering, and shipping materials with care, precision, and a safety-first mindset.

Role impact

• Accuracy: Ensure labels, packaging, counts, and documents are right the first time.
• Velocity: Operate powered industrial equipment and warehouse machinery to move product efficiently.
• Continuity: Deliver raw materials to work centers to keep lines running.
• Integrity: Inspect for damage, report discrepancies, and uphold Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
• Order: Maintain a clean, organized, 5S-compliant workspace.

Technology & tools

Transact and track product using JDE, RFS, and RF technology while loading/unloading trucks and managing both inbound and outbound flows.

Location & schedule

• Address: 23400 Haggerty Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48335
• Shift: 2nd shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Employment classification

• Position Type: Full-Time/Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Core responsibilities

• Process and load customer orders
• Schedule, move, weigh, stock, receive, and pack materials/products
• Load/unload trailers safely and efficiently
• Maintain inventory accuracy; participate in counts
• Complete all required documentation with precision
• Support additional duties as needed

What you’ll need

• Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written/verbal directions
• Fundamental verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math and clerical capabilities
• Physical stamina, including lifting/moving heavy items
• Attention to detail and strong organizational habits

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma; 0–2 years of experience
• Preferred: Powered industrial equipment certification
