Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Psychiatric
Department: Alcohol Dependency
Location: Brighton, MI 48116
Contract: 13-week contract
Shift: Days and Afternoons

Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN to provide high-quality nursing care in the Alcohol Dependency Department. The RN will support patient recovery through assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team in an inpatient setting.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience in an inpatient setting.

• Experience with alcohol dependency patients.

• Current Michigan RN license.

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, monitoring, and documentation of patient conditions.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by providers.

• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Support patient education, recovery, and behavioral health initiatives.

• Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient status following hospital protocols.

• Maintain compliance with safety, clinical, and regulatory standards.
