Salary Range: $52,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code programs.
- Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Adjust machine offsets, tooling, and programming to maintain tight tolerances and optimize production.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts efficiently.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machines and tooling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or production issues.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
- Demonstrated understanding of G-code and M-code for program editing and troubleshooting.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) for quality inspection.
- Experience with tool selection, offset adjustments, and basic machine maintenance.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360) for offline programming
- Experience with advanced metrology equipment, such as CMMs or optical comparators
- Ability to perform light machine maintenance or troubleshooting
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
