Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) in Michigan
• Previous pediatric, school-based, or educational experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Comfortable working with diverse student populations and collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation best practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with a range of needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services within classrooms and small groups
• Monitor, document, and report student progress to educators and families
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff to support student success
• Educate teachers and families on strategies to promote student independence and participation
