As a Document Specialist, you'll dive into organizing, analyzing, and managing project documentation to support planning, cost estimating, progress tracking, and resource management initiatives. You'll drive the development of clear, accurate, and actionable reports and dashboards using the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite, ensuring teams have the insights they need to make informed decisions. In this role, you'll review contractual information, technical data, customer usage and maintenance practices, and operational details to help determine provisioning, maintenance, and repair requirements. You'll also support the development of logistics plans, assist with distribution and network studies, and help analyze inventory needs to enhance delivery performance. - Assist in the preparation of reports, graphs and presentations using the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite of products to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Project Service Automation (PSA)
- Manage project deliverables and calendars of required tasks, including action item tracking and coordination
- Present power point presentations, analytical reports, and conduct training as required
- Generate custom views, timelines, custom fields, calculated fields
- Develop and apply custom calendars
- Create and manage resource tables and pools
- Generate and export task usage and resource usage reports
- Generate project cost estimates
- Compare planned costs to applicable budget constraints
- Provide support actions as necessary for major Milestone Review and coordinate with higher-level Department of Defense staff agencies (eg: specific interaction with Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASA (AL&T)) or other similar DoD staff agency)
- Perform actions to load, maintain, and track all documents required to support reviews using the designated system, such as the PEO Share Point Portal, Document Staffing Tool (DST), GEARS, and the Defense Acquisition Information Repository (AIR)
- Must be located in Michigan
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field
- Minimum of eight years of related logistics experience.
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain Common Access Card (CAC) access. May be subject to requirement for obtaining a DOD level security clearance.
- Familiar in the use of FAR, DFARs, and DoD 5000 series acquisition policies and procedures; and specific experience using DoD 5000.02.
- Experience applicable to generating schedule model network diagrams using the Program Evaluation Review Technique and creating those products using a variety of tools to include MS Project, MS Visio, WBS Schedule Pro or other DoD approved software.
- Experience with milestone documents and risk management processes to include research, staffing, coordination, and tracking of all supporting documentation required for DoD Acquisition Lifecycle Milestone reviews in support of a tracked/wheeled combat vehicle program.
- Experience with Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) Acquisition Category (ACAT I/II) programs and review, edit, and update documentation required for Risk Reviews in accordance with the respective organizations Risk Management Plan (RMP).
- Prior experience or familiarity with government contracting is a plus.
- Familiar with Army SharePoint sites (Army365 Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Bi, D365)
