A leading company in display component production is actively rebuilding its IT team and undergoing a significant modernization effort. We are seeking a Lead ERP Application Developer to provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise for our new ERP system implementation and the stabilization of our Radius integration. This pivotal role requires someone who can not only write excellent code but also mentor a team, define best practices, and strategically drive our application development initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of complex customizations, modules, and reports within the ERP system.
  • Oversee and contribute to the development of robust integration solutions, ensuring seamless data flow between the ERP, Radius, and other enterprise applications.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, development methodologies, and best practices for ERP application development.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into technical roadmaps and project plans.
  • Act as a primary escalation point for complex technical challenges, providing expert-level troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Drive performance optimization, security enhancements, and scalability improvements for ERP applications.
  • Participate in architectural reviews and contribute to the overall enterprise application strategy.
  • Manage documentation standards for technical specifications, development artifacts, and system configurations.

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of extensive experience in ERP system development and integration, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
  • Expert-level technical proficiency with one or more major ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics D365, SAP, NetSuite).
  • Deep expertise in relevant development technologies such as C#, .NET, SQL, PL/SQL, X++, JavaScript (for Dynamics), ABAP (for SAP), or SuiteScript (for NetSuite).
  • Proven experience leading the design and implementation of complex system integrations using various methods (APIs, middleware, EDI).
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring developers and driving technical initiatives.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, fast-changing IT environment with multiple high-priority projects.
  • Commitment to a hybrid work model (2-3 days onsite, with potential for more as needed).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks or specific ERP modules.
  • Prior experience managing full lifecycle ERP implementations or major upgrades.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain industry.
