To build on this team, we are searching for a Controls Engineer. This role requires collaboration within a project team to design and program controls systems per project specifications.What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and document controls systems for various types of automated equipment
- Generate and verify configuration data for machines
- Utilize AutoCAD to produce electrical layouts and schematic drawings
- Coordinate machine de-bug, power up, and validation with project team members
- Ensure equipment design and program meet internal and external specifications
- Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments during various project phases
- Communicate with all departments on project progress and status
- Document and communicate machine changes and issues
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical experience
- Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other program/design systems including HMI, PLC, robots, motion control, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Work as part of a team or independently with direction from Lead Controls Engineer or Manager
- Demonstrated skill in machine de-bug
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective customer service skills
- Travel minimum 20% may be required domestically and internationally

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum Skills & Abilities
