Emergency Room RN Job Details

• Location: Grand Blanc, MI 48439 (Michigan nursing jobs)
• Facility: Emergency Department (Float Pool) – Level 2 Trauma Center
• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• End Date: November 22, 2025
• Shifts: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Patient Ratio: 1:5 (may vary with case load)
• Interview Process: Direct call from nurse manager
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1930 - $1990

ER RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – Required
• Preferred Certifications: TNCC, ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, CPI
• Strong clinical skills and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care
• Communicate critical patient and family information to the healthcare team
• Identify and implement solutions for variances from patient goals
• Float between Emergency Department and ED Observation as needed
• Maintain clinical proficiency and adhere to hospital and healthcare policies
