We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Septic Pump Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to service residential and commercial septic systems. Responsibilities include locating and digging up septic lids, pumping septic tanks, customer service interactions, hose handling, and riser installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a septic pump truck safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.

• Locate and excavate septic tank lids manually or with tools as needed.

• Pump septic tanks for residential and commercial clients.

• Pull and manage heavy hoses, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

• Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and explaining services.

• Install risers and lids to improve future access to septic systems.

• Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and job documentation.

• Perform basic maintenance checks on the truck and equipment.

• Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class B or higher preferred.

• Previous experience in septic or waste management industry a plus.

• Ability to perform physically demanding labor (digging, lifting hoses, etc.).

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Ability to read and follow site maps and locate septic system components.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.

• Exposure to strong odors and unsanitary conditions.

• Regular lifting, bending, digging, and use of hand tools.
