Mechanic Shop Assistant/C Level Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanic Shop Assistant/C Level Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the mechanic shop's daily operations by assisting with oil changes, tire changes, parts organization and other shop duties. Your hands-on expertise will help ensure our farm vehicles are serviced efficiently and safely. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced, energetic farm environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vehicle repairs, including oil changes, tire services, alignments, and general maintenance tasks
• Perform basic automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately and efficiently
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform mechanical work on various vehicle makes and models
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as fluid checks, brake inspections, and tire rotations
• Support the team in vehicle inspections and ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use
• Organize and stock all shop supplies, including parts

Qualifications

• Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
• Proven mechanic experience with hands-on knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
• Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical principles
• Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as required for vehicle parts or equipment handling
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, alignments, tire services, and general repairs
