The Difference You’ll Make

As a Human Resources Manager at Saint Therese, you will lead our strategic HR initiatives to foster a thriving, engaged, and compliant workforce. In this HR Manager role, will oversee all facets of human capital at our Westlake and St. Mary of the Woods campuses, ensuring that our HR practices align with organizational goals. Your energetic leadership will drive employee development, lead new hire orientation, oversee employee relations, and create a positive workplace culture that empowers employees at every level. We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist that is experienced managing all aspects of HR confidently.

What You’ll Do

-Review, interpret and administer campus wide Human Resource related policies, procedures and programs

-Provide consultation to managers/supervisors on employment related issues, disciplinary meetings, issue resolutions, and terminations.

-Participate in disciplinary meetings, issue resolutions, and termination meetings with directors and supervisors.

-Conduct new hire orientation for all new hires.

-Manage campus Work Comp, Loss Control, and Safety programs with the guidance of the Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO) and Sr. Director of Employee Benefits

Minimum Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in Human Resources management or HR related field

-Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.

-Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and data-driven decision-making.

-High sense of urgency and decisiveness, along with sound problem-solving skills.

-Working knowledge of personal computers, and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field

-Experience in senior living or similar industry

-HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)

-Experience with UltiPro (UKG)

-Change management experience
