As GHSP continues to grow and strengthen its global market presence, we are investing in the people, partnerships, and technologies that drive innovation across the automotive, transportation, and appliance industries. We are currently seeking an Electronics Buyer to join our Purchasing team in Holland, Michigan.

The Electronics Buyer supports sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing activities for assigned commodities in support of operational objectives, product development, and manufacturing needs. Responsibilities include:

• Supports sourcing and purchasing strategies for assigned commodities to ensure continuity of supply, cost competitiveness, and quality performance.
• Identifies, evaluates, and maintains relationships with suppliers to support production requirements, new product launches, and long-term business objectives.
• Collaborates with Engineering, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs), Operations, and other cross-functional teams to support quoting, sourcing, and product launch activities.
• Participates in supplier negotiations, including pricing, lead times, terms and conditions, and supply agreements.
• Monitors inventory requirements, production schedules, and supplier performance to help ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
• Assists in analyzing commodity market trends, supplier risks, and global economic conditions to support purchasing decisions and cost forecasting.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives related to cost reduction, supplier performance, and supply chain efficiency.
• Maintains purchasing data, supplier records, and related documentation in accordance with company processes and applicable standards.
• May travel to supplier locations and GHSP manufacturing facilities as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or related experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
