About this Opportunity
The Marketing Coordinator will be a key contributor to Rockford’s Marketing team, supporting the execution of marketing initiatives that align with the company’s brand and business strategy. This role assists with composing and editing content, developing visual assets, and coordinating marketing projects to ensure consistent, high-quality communication across channels.
Requirements
- Assist with information packages, proposal elements and other marketing materials that support Rockford’s markets and services.
- Support through writing, editing, design and basic website updates.
- Contribute and assist with presentations, signage and other brand materials.
- Help maintain Rockford’s digital asset management system.
- Assists with special events, including select internal events, client events, ribbon-cuttings, groundbreakings, etc.
- Assist with coordinating and capturing project photography.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team and other departments to meet companywide needs.
- Promote a workplace culture centered on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Provide general support on additional projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Communications, English, Journalism, Business, Marketing, Graphic Design)
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while consistently producing results of exceptional quality.
- Confident, detail-oriented and self-motivated with proven ability to effectively take ownership, organize work tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Layout and/or graphic design skills that facilitate appealing and effective communication, a plus.
- Marketing or communications experience in the construction, architecture or engineering industry, a plus.

Environmental Factors
The work environment for this position is a typical office environment with frequent visits to construction sites. When in the office, the physical demands require the ability to sit for long periods of time. Intermittent movement, such as accessing centrally located office equipment, lifting of 35 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing, may be necessary to perform the requirements of this position.
Visits to construction sites may involve varied amounts of travel and overnight stays. Site visits may subject the individual to hazards commonly associated with construction. Examples of physical hazards include noise, proximity to moving vehicles, atmospheric conditions, close quarters, uneven surfaces, and elevated surfaces. The individual may also be subject to outside environmental conditions (weather) where protection may not be available. Personal protective equipment (PPE) including proper footwear, hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection (if applicable), high visibility vest and/or other special clothing shall be worn on construction sites at all times unless otherwise specified.
