Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Builder who will take charge of various projects, building machines from provided blueprints and schematics. This role requires the ability to perform basic wiring tasks, handling up to 480 volts. The ideal candidate should be adaptable and comfortable with frequent changes in projects.

Responsibilities

• Build machines based on blueprints and schematics.
• Perform basic electrical wiring tasks up to 480 volts.
• Collaborate on various projects with shifting focuses every few months.
• Demonstrate machine building skills during the interview by interpreting blueprints.

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of machine building experience.
• 2+ years of electrical wiring experience up to 480 volts.
• Mechanical aptitude and welding experience preferred.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with variable frequency drives (VFD).

Work Environment

This is a first-shift job opportunity with working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The facility spans 150,000 sq. ft. and includes modern production equipment, offices, and a laboratory. Enjoy a climate-controlled environment with hot, cold, and spray urethane capabilities.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kalamazoo, MI.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
