Meadows at Anchor Bay – New Baltimore, MI

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to provide quality service to the residents of our senior apartment community in New Baltimore, Michigan. Meadows at Anchor Bay offers spacious, comfortable living for adults 55 and better, with a dedicated team committed to providing our residents with a quality living experience.

We are seeking a friendly, customer service-oriented individual to help protect and improve the overall appearance of the community. Availability for this position is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and make ready all vacant homes and common areas of the buildings.
• Maintain resident relations - provide excellent customer service to residents; participate in resident functions as required by the Property Manager
• Follow all safety and liability guidelines - help ensure that all items listed in the safety inspection report are up to company standards
• Contribute to team effort - maintain expense control to meet budget; participate in preventative maintenance schedule as required; attend all staff meetings; other duties as assigned by management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Minimum one year of experience in a housekeeping or related experience required
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required
• Ability to follow directives and work with minimum supervision
• Must have basic understanding of English language and be able to communicate with coworkers
• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in order to communicate issues, problems, ideas, concerns and information on work progress
• Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors and the general public
• Ability to exercise schedule flexibility to accomplish set goals
