Billing Specialist

LaSalle Network is partnering with a premier business law firm to identify an experienced Billing Specialist for a direct hire opportunity within their growing legal billing team. Responsibilities:

• Manage the full-cycle legal billing process including prebills, invoice edits, final billing, and eBilling submissions

• Process and troubleshoot LEDES invoices through BillBlast , Aderant , and various eBilling platforms

• Handle billing discrepancies, rejected invoices, and attorney/client billing requests in a timely manner

• Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines, fee arrangements, and legal billing requirements

• Partner directly with attorneys, clients, and legal staff in a high-volume billing environment

Requirements/ Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of recent legal billing experience within a law firm environment required

• MUST have recent BillBlast experience plus experience with Aderant and/or Elite 3/E3

• Strong knowledge of LEDES billing, eBilling portals, and invoice troubleshooting

• High-volume billing experience and strong communication/customer service skills preferred

• Location: Chicago, IL or Detroit, MI (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

• Employment Type: Direct Hire

• Compensation: $70,000-$76,000 base salary
