Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement industrial control systems including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize automated machinery and robotic systems.
• Provide technical support and diagnose complex automation and electrical issues on the production floor.
• Lead and manage controls-related projects from conception to commissioning, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline adherence.
• Develop and maintain accurate control system documentation, schematics, and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, IT) to improve process efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure all control systems comply with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, machine guarding) and industry best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Strong understanding and experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot electrical control systems and schematics.
• Experience with industrial robotics, motion control, or vision systems.
• Proven ability to manage and execute automation projects from concept to commissioning.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and relevant safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB).
• Proficiency in industrial data acquisition and database management (e.g., SQL, historian systems).
• Familiarity with machine vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and guidance.
• Understanding of OT network architecture and cybersecurity principles.
