Network Float Practice Coordinator Administrator
Overview
The Network Float Practice Coordinator will provide coverage across multiple Satellite locations(Merrimack Valley, Brighton and Londonderry) and will be expected to travel to sites that are not their home location to provide coverage.
Mileage reimbursement is provided.
There's a mandatory on-site 90-day training.
The Network Float Practice Coordinator Administrator II is responsible for scheduling functions in a floating capacity supporting the satellites These functions may include, but are not limited to, providing customer service to patients, including check-in/check-out services updating patient information, answering incoming calls and non-clinical patient questions. They may also assist with registration of new patients including the collection of demographic information and insurance information. The Network Float Practice Coordinator provides administrative support to the satellites, which may include typing, filing, scheduling meetings, and independently completing projects as assigned, such as producing reports, spreadsheets, presentations, or other documents as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provides advanced communications support, screening calls, and determining appropriate action in response to all inquiries.
- Provides administrative support to Practice and general administrative support to the satellites and network operations leaders.
- Responsible for patient check-in and check-out functions.
- Greet patients, print wristbands, and verify patient DOB, confirm patient demographics and insurance information, confirm all necessary forms are completed.
- Complete annual Registration Update, if necessary.
- Review encounter form from the MD/RN for completeness, schedule all appointments, print patient itinerary for next appointment and explain next steps to the patient.
- Prepare confidential and sensitive documents and correspondence.
- Coordinate meetings and schedules (including provider schedules), may also coordinate conferences or other group meetings, participates in the coordination of department/program activities, plans and coordinates compliance related actions.
- Ensures reports and other documents are prepared in a timely manner.
- Answer phones for unit, triage calls as necessary according to office procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between patient/family/provider; resolve issues directly or ensures appropriate management of calls by others.
- Recognizes emergencies and responds appropriately using SOPs.
- Provides general disease or program specific information to callers/patients within the PC scope of knowledge and authority.
- Participates in clinical systems training for new hires and may teach or participate in the planning.
Qualifications
- Associates degree required; 3 years of equivalent experience may substitute for degree.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of Institute policies and practices preferred.

- Knowledge of DFCI Epic, and host hospital EMRs.
- Excellent ability to organize, prioritize and follow-through.
- Displays teamwork/cooperation.
- Displays an understanding of how their job relates to the overall work processes and other functional areas.
- Displays ability to respond constructively to peer and supervisory suggestions and direction.
