Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Position Type: Locum tenens (travel contract) – Interventional Radiology
• Healthcare Setting: Level II Trauma Center, Interventional Radiology Department
• Start Date: October 27, 2025
• End Date: January 26, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 10-hour days
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend/On-call: On-call required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2870 - $2950 per week

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Valid ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification (required for U.S. healthcare jobs)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology
• Proficiency with GE imaging equipment and EHR systems (Cerner, Merge Hemo)
• Ability to pan, scrub, and circulate for IR procedures, including Angiography (Cerebral, Renal, Hepatic, Mesenteric, Lower extremity, PE, DVT)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; collaborative approach to clinical support
• Hospital-provided scrubs required; jewelry not permitted during shifts

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Assist and perform a wide range of Interventional Radiology procedures, including angiography and vascular interventions
• Support advanced procedures such as ultrasound and CT biopsy, vertebroplasty, lumbar puncture (LP), EVAR, fistulograms, shuntograms with declot, and central line placement (preferred skillset)
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner and Merge Hemo EHR systems
• Deliver care to geriatric, adult, and pediatric patient populations in a hospital setting
• Participate in on-call rotations as required for Interventional Radiology coverage
