Pastry Cook
Join the pastry team at Oak & Reel, a contemporary Italian restaurant from Michelin-starred Chef Jared Gadbaw.
We're looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented pastry cook who is passionate about baking and desserts. Experience is preferred, but we're happy to train someone with a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a genuine passion for pastry.
Responsibilities & Skills
- Follow standardized recipes and production sheets with precision
- Weigh and measure ingredients accurately
- Prepare batters, doughs, creams, breads, and frozen desserts
- Portion, shape, pipe, bake, and finish pastries with consistency
- Execute clean, consistent plating and presentation
- Maintain high standards of quality, organization, and cleanliness
- Work efficiently as part of a collaborative kitchen team with a positive attitude and strong sense of urgency
