- Collaborate on new part setups, NADRs, and ensure correct material master data.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels, weeks of supply, safety stock, shelf life, and batch traceability.
- Maintain inventory targets and prevent material shortages or obsolescence.
- Track consumption rates and analyze variances for high‑cost or volatile materials (e.g., TiO₂, acrylic resins, specialty additives).
Supplier & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with suppliers to manage availability, lead times, quality concerns, and documentation (SDS, TDS, VOC compliance).
- Issue SCARs and support supplier improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, R&D, and Technical teams on material changes, new product introductions, and qualifications.
- Meet with suppliers on-site when needed.
Logistics & Compliance:
- Coordinate inbound shipments and manage hazardous material handling and storage requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve supply chain resilience.
- Reconcile invoice discrepancies using internal systems (e.g., Webcycle).
