Classification: Part time

Reports To: Elementary Principal

About Us:

Lenawee Christian Ministries provides a Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and social services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ.

Position Summary:

This person will work to ensure the proper care and safety needed for the children within their care.  This person will need to have a warm and welcoming personality as well as have a general interest in children and their individual needs.  This person will need to be creative and willing to have fun with children. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the safety of children through consistent supervision

• Communicating with parents

• Creating fun activities for school age children (K – 4)

• Work Monday through Friday 3:00pm-6:00pm

Qualifications:

• Christian Faith:

• Profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

• Adherence to Christian principles and values in both personal and professional life.

• Must be willing to get fingerprinted.

• Must be able to get a TB skin test with a negative test result.

• Be willing to obtain/maintain current CPR/First Aid certification.

• Must be 18 years old.

• Must be able to relate well to both children and parents.

• Must have good communication skills.
