Software Engineering position within IT Manufacturing Digital Engineering (MDE) product team dedicated to building software products for our Manufacturing and Plant Floor business customers and end users. As a key member of our Manufacturing IT group, this position will be with teams supporting Tooling Design and Build, FPS Process Adherence, Process Planning, Quality Control Systems, and Visualization training tools.
What you'll do...
- Development and Integration of IT solutions using Agile methodology
- Working in a collaborative virtual environment that includes pairing and mobbing with other cross-functional team members
- Collaborate with business partners to define requirements and gather feedback for future enhancements
- Validate and release applications using continuous integration and continuous delivery tools (CI/CD)
- Help shape the product vision by understanding business processes that we support, and providing input on the user experience
- Work on a small agile team to deliver working, tested software
- Communicate effectively with product owners, product designers, and other technical experts
- Troubleshoot and remediate issues faced by end users on an as-needed basis
You'll have...
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, Management Information Systems, or similar degree preferred OR a combination of education and experience
- 1+ years of full stack software development experience
- Experience using Angular framework and Springboot
- Functional languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar
- Knowledge of software delivery tools (e.g. GitHub, Tekton, etc.)
- Exposure to Microservice architecture (REST APIs, SOAP/WSDL/XML/SOA)
- Knowledge of Software Design Patterns
- Experience in Agile development, extreme programming environment, test driven development, and software craftsmanship
