Available Shifts: 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. I 24 hours per pay period
Anticipated Pay: $18.00-$22.00/hour *Same Day Pay Available*

In this Medication Tech position (2:00pm–10:00pm, 24 hours every two weeks), you’ll play a vital role in supporting resident health and well-being by safely administering medications, monitoring for side effects, and documenting care with accuracy and attention to detail. You’ll also take and record vital signs, respond promptly to resident needs, and help ensure a safe, supportive environment. Beyond the clinical tasks, this role is about compassion—building trust with residents, collaborating with team members, and creating a respectful, caring community for everyone you serve. -Safely administer prescribed medications, including oral medications and, when trained and authorized, subcutaneous insulin, in accordance with physician orders and community policy
-Assist residents with medication administration while monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions
-Accurately document medication administration, including PRN use, effectiveness, and any follow-up interventions
-Obtain and record vital signs as needed to assess resident response to medications
-Maintain accurate and timely medical records under appropriate supervision
-Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests, supporting overall care needs
-Foster a respectful, compassionate environment for residents, families, and team members
Minimum Qualifications:
-Previous experience as a Medication Aide required if formal training has not been completed
-Previous experience as a CENA or Nurse Aide required
-Resident-centered approach with awareness and sensitivity to individual needs and abilities
-Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment
-Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
-Working knowledge of electronic charting systems and basic computer applications
-Dependability and ability to follow written and verbal directions
-Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and transferring residents
-Professional maturity and composure in a fast-paced care environment
Preferred:
-Successful completion of an approved Medication Aide training program preferred
-Experience in assisted living or memory care preferred
