Salary Range: $117,000 - $166,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers.
• Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes, quality, and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to resolve complex production challenges.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D teams to optimize product manufacturability.
• Develop and manage the engineering department's budget and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical background in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial, process engineering).
• Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical and operational problems, driving root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with modern manufacturing technologies such as automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 concepts.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) for production planning and data analysis.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar project management credentials.
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive).
