Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders).
• Interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts, ensuring proper fixturing.
• Adjust machine offsets, tool wear compensations, and program parameters to maintain part quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine alarms, minor malfunctions, and tooling issues.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
• Ability to interpret and edit G-code and M-code for machine programming and adjustments.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Strong understanding of various cutting tools, materials, and machining processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for program generation and optimization.
• Proficiency in advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator).
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with 4-axis or 5-axis machining.
