Shift: 2nd shift - 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
OR
Shift: 3rd Shift – 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Pay: $20.00 per hour + $1.50 shift premium
We are currently seeking a Quality Team Lead to oversee quality control activities on the production floor. Reporting directly to the Quality Supervisor and indirectly to the Production Superintendent, this role is responsible for monitoring processes, supporting the production team, ensuring quality compliance, and promoting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all quality standards are met in accordance with ISO9001:2015 and IATF 16949 requirements.
- Perform quality inspections such as first/last off tags, SPC measurements, visual checks, and data entry.
- Train new and existing production employees on quality procedures and expectations.
- Maintain documentation and test records accurately.
- Monitor processes for non-conforming parts and initiate appropriate containment measures.
- Address machine malfunctions, report discrepancies, and support root cause investigations.
- Conduct layered audits and contribute to team problem-solving efforts.
- Enter scrap data into Ujigami and escalate issues per company protocol.
- Write and distribute daily shift reports.
- Promote a safe work environment and ensure team compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team communication meetings.
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
- At least 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the plastics or automotive industry.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer tasks and data analysis.
- Ability to read measurements and use inspection tools.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 45 pounds.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

- Follow all OSHA and internal safety protocols, including wearing PPE.
- Address potential hazards immediately and report safety concerns.
- Understand and follow emergency response procedures, including evacuation and spill response.
Environmental Responsibilities
- Understand the company’s environmental policy and procedures.
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with environmental requirements.
- Report spills or environmental concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Quality Commitment

- Follow all documented quality procedures and contribute to ongoing process improvement.
