Salary Range: $46,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Conduct various quality tests and measurements using precision instruments.
• Document inspection and test results, maintaining accurate quality records and reports.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in the investigation of quality issues and support root cause analysis.
• Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of all inspection and test equipment.
• Verify adherence to quality control plans, manufacturing specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., SPC, Root Cause Analysis).
• Experience performing various types of product inspections (e.g., in-process, final, first article).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and data entry for quality records.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Minitab or other statistical analysis software.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience.
• Familiarity with CMM operation or programming.
• Experience participating in internal quality audits.
