IT Asset Intake & Audit Technician

As an e-Stewards, R2v3, NAID AAA, and ISO certified processor, we provide secure data destruction, certified refurbishment, and sustainable recycling solutions that extend the life of technology while reducing environmental impact.
This role is essential to that mission. As the first point of contact for every device that enters our facility, the IT Asset Intake & Audit Technician ensures each asset is handled securely, accurately, and with purpose — protecting customer data while supporting sustainable technology reuse.
This position requires strong attention to detail, consistency in process execution, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Technicians are expected to maintain high standards of safety, data security, and workflow accuracy while supporting overall production goals.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred
Basic technical aptitude or willingness to learn computer hardware identification
Ability to follow structured processes and maintain accurate records
Preferred Candidate Qualifications (not required)
CompTIA A+ certification or similar technical background
Experience with inventory or ERP systems
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Previous experience in electronics recycling, refurbishment, or IT related environments
Forklift (hi-lo) experience or certification

Required Skills & Attributes
Strong reliability and consistent attendance
Ability to stand, bend, and move for 8-hour shifts
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (team-assisted when necessary)
Comfortable moving throughout an operational environment multiple times per day
Clear written and verbal English communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support multiple departments
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

Fast paced operational environment with variable daily workload

Cross functional support expected when primary tasks are complete
Consistent engagement and productivity throughout scheduled shifts
Security & Compliance
Responsible for handling data bearing devices and sensitive materials
Must follow all data security, chain of custody, and confidentiality procedures
