Desktop Support Technician
Description
Desktop support position that provides technical assistance to staff, managing computer hardware/software, and resolving network issues. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktop systems, printers, and peripheral devices. They will have 3000 phone devices that need to be replaced by end of year ahead of their Windows 12 migration. The technician will support both day to day tickets and scope and begin the phone refresh project alongside the lifecycle refresh.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Offer in-person or remote support for software, hardware, and network issues.
System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, and peripheral devices (e.g., printers, scanners).
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently to minimize disruption in clinical or administrative areas.
User Support: Provide technical assistance for operating systems and software applications used within the hospital system.
Documentation: Log all support requests and actions taken within a ticketing system
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Experience with desktop hardware/software troubleshooting is usually required, often with specialized experience required for higher-level positions (e.g., Specialist II).
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and network configuration.
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for effective communication with healthcare providers and staff.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues under pressure.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
