As a Security Professional - Chemical Site Patrol in Jackson, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a leading chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThur08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the chemical or petrochemical location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for potential hazards or unusual conditions during patrols and report findings according to site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal requirements.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
