Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficient tool management and accessibility.
• Manage and maintain the inventory of tools, dies, fixtures, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Supervise and train tool room personnel, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines within the tool room.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and maintenance departments to fulfill tooling needs.
• Schedule and oversee the repair, calibration, and preventative maintenance of tooling.
• Maintain accurate records of tool usage, repairs, and inventory levels.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in tool room operations.
