Now in her eighth year as a successful State Farm agent, Kandiss brings a unique background to her role in risk management, with a bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Science and a decade of experience in the ER of a Level 1 Trauma Center. While she once witnessed the limitations of her teams ability to help patients, Kandiss now dedicates herself to helping customers proactively protect against the unexpected. Our team of nine spans two locations, providing high-quality service and meaningful support. We are also deeply involved in our communityproud sponsors of the Detroit Youth Choirs annual shows and active contributors to local initiatives. Kandiss serves on the Board of Trustees for Gift of Life Michigan and is a Founding Board Member of the Michigan Black Business Alliance. As Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member for Kandiss Ecton - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. Grow your career as you better your community. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
- Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
- Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
- Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
