Dermatology Specialists is a well-established and respected dermatology healthcare group with over 40 years of experience delivering exceptional patient care. With 9 thriving locations throughout the Metro Detroit area, we are excited to announce the expansion of our practice with a brand-new Mohs/Dermatology clinic in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Clinic Manager to join our team. This key leadership role is essential to ensuring the efficient daily operations of the office while supporting both our healthcare providers and patients.

As part of a new clinic team, this role will also be cross-trained in front desk and medical assistant duties to be able to provide assistance when on-the-floor coverage is needed, ensuring seamless support across all functions of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee daily operations of the medical office, ensuring efficient workflow.

· Work with our Billing and Scheduling department to manage the provider/patient scheduling and billing processes for the clinic.

· Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

· Supervise administrative and clinical staff.

· Provide training to new staff and existing staff.

· Hiring/conduct in-person interviews.

· Handle office and medical supplies and inventory management.

· Will assist at the front desk if needed: answering phone calls, checking in/out, insurance verifications, prior authorizations.

· Ensure rooms and general clinic areas are kept clean and safe for patients and employees.

· Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations or procedures, when needed.

· Prepare patients for medical examinations, including taking vital signs or medical histories.

· Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.

· Assist with answering patients' questions.

· Lead coordinator on all marketing efforts, such as delivering gift baskets to nearby medical offices, setting up meetings for our Physicians and Primary Care Physician offices, working closely with our Marketing vendor to make sure website is up to date, printing brochures, posters, attending meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assisting certification preferred

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Management role.

Proven experience as a Medical Assistant.

Knowledge of medical terminology, office procedures and healthcare regulations

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Must be a go-getter, take initiative and follow-through on any assigned projects or task.

Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) and office software.

Must have reliable transportation.

*This position may also be required to travel to our metro Detroit locations for on-boarding training or other quarterly meetings. Travel accommodations will be provided.

Pay will be dependent upon experience
