Position Overview
JAM Best One Fleet Service is seeking a highly motivated CDL-B Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Specialist, you will play a crucial role in safely transporting and delivering goods to our customer throughout the Flint Michigan area. Your responsibilities will include operating a commercial motor vehicle, conducting necessary inspections, loading/unloading products, adhering to traffic regulations, planning efficient routes, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. Requirements:- Must have a valid CDL-B license
- Proven experience as a professional CDL-B driver, preferably in a route delivery role
- DOT Medical Certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic regulations
- Excellent map reading and navigation skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Able to lift 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- High degree of reliability, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting delivery schedules
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, and work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.
