Automotive Procurement Analyst

- Manages and monitors order creation, inbound shipments, inventory levels, and allocation strategies for parts related to compliance activities
- Applies the appropriate ordering and allocation methodology to support the launch timelines and requirements for each campaign type (Recall, Service Action, Update)
- Develops executive summary presentations; competent in communication to all levels of leadership regarding parts supply and launch readiness
- Analysis and preparation of population data to support allocation recommendations
- Review work queue daily in SVG to address supply chain exceptions
- Monitor and manage ongoing supply and inventory levels for all active campaign parts using the Network Planning Tool (Servigistics), escalate and expedite to mitigate risk of stock outs
- Ensure material availability for allocations at initial launch, place necessary blocks
- Reduce obsolescence through enforcing ordering methodology by campaign type and making necessary adjustments to supply plan based on take rate
- Act as liaison with all suppliers for all campaign related activity
- Understanding of warehouse processes surrounding accounting transactions, pricing, receiving and shipping; coordinate launch plans with Warehouse Operations personnel
- SAP knowledge regarding sales docs, purchase order creation, invoicing and reconciliation.
- Achieve fill rate targets for assigned purchasing groups
- Create and develop Standard Operating Procedures pertinent to campaign activities
- Ability to keep all aspects of campaign related activity confidential
- Act as the Project Manager for all upcoming and recently lunched campaigns Build strong relations with Warehouse Operations, Dealer Support, Group Customer Protection, and Suppliers and work to continuously improve business processes

This role serves as a representative of the Parts Logistics Team with respect to the management of compliance and quality related matters. The scope of responsibility requires the timely and adequate procurement of spare parts for initiatives deemed necessary to support the US and Canadian service markets. This position will manage, track and report out on the parts availability status. The qualified candidate will also be responsible for implementing and managing Special Processes and related to the role.
