Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU and Step-down units, spanning adolescent to geriatric age groups
- Monitor hemodynamics, interpret assessments, and respond to patient condition changes; support ventilated or post-operative patients as needed
- Administer medications, monitor for adverse effects, and document clinical interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs/SNAs, LPNs, or other staff as assigned; ensure patient safety and protocol compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure smooth handoffs during shift changes
- Uphold infection control practices and patient safety standards; provide patient and family education as appropriate

Requirements
- Licenses: Current Michigan RN license with verification through LARA (required)
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; TNCC or TCAR preferred
- Education: Active RN license; education appropriate for Michigan licensure (no additional degree specified)
- Physical/eligibility: Ability to work nights in an ICU/SDU setting and participate in a travel assignment as described
- Additional: Resume detailing ICU experience; ability to meet AHSA process and documentation requirements as noted
