Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager / Group Leader to lead and develop the electrical division within our full-service Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) practice group. This dual-track role combines high-level technical design oversight, project management, and team leadership with active client development and proposal drafting.

Key Responsibilities

• Group Leadership & Metrics: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the electrical division. Delegate technical tasks, mentor junior engineering staff, and collaborate with practice leaders to meet group workload and utilization metrics.
• Project & Client Management: Serve as the primary project manager for electrical deliverables. Scope new projects, draft proposals, manage project design budgets, review invoices, and interface directly with clients from the programming phase through construction completion.
• Design & Quality Control: Develop detailed electrical construction documents, technical specifications, and Preliminary Opinion of Cost (POC) documentation. Conduct site visits and perform rigorous quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) design reviews to ensure absolute compliance with building codes and sustainable design standards.

Core Qualifications

• Experience: Proven track record in senior-level electrical engineering design, specifically within a multi-disciplinary MEP or building infrastructure environment.
• Technical Skills: Mastery of electrical building systems design (power distribution, lighting, and controls) from conceptual stages through final construction documentation.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, establish engineering budgets, drive project schedules, and mentor technical production staff
