Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, policies, and procedures across the manufacturing site.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs to employees at all levels.
• Manage hazardous waste programs and ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of materials.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, policies, and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Professional EHS certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or similar.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience integrating EHS principles into Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives.
• Master's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related engineering field.
• Proven experience with sustainability initiatives or ESG reporting frameworks.
