Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school district in Dearborn, MI, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a contract position lasting the entire school year. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional experienced in providing prehensive psychological services within educational settings.
Key responsibilities include evaluating students cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral needs; conducting assessments and interpreting results; collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective intervention plans; and supporting students academic and emotional development.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license for the state of Michigan
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting data in K-12 settings
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and individualized education program (IEP) processes
- Ability to collaborate and municate effectively with parents, teachers, and support staff
- Proven skills in counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management

Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret standardized tests to assess student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized planning
- Provide counseling and intervention to support mental health and learning
