Responsibilities:
HR Manager who will be responsible for the oversight and performance of day-to-day HR duties, working closely with the Chief Administrative Officer to identify functions and processes in need of improvement
Is a member of the Leadership Team and reports to all meetings, as necessary, in order to represent the Human Resources function for the organization
Maintains knowledge of all Federal and State laws, regulations and statutes as they pertain to employment and employee relations
Ensures all employment and employee relations are compliant with such laws, regulations and statutes
Develops and revises s
Processes injury reports and corresponds with worker's compensation carrier when necessary
Ensures compliance with the Affordable Care Act including the review and processing of 1094/1095 forms
Manages the FMLA process ensuring full compliance with all laws/regulations
Coordinates New Hire Orientation and presents the HR content
Ensures compliance with State and AOA standards, working with Leadership to attain required file documentation
Interacts with surveyors to demonstrate compliance
Plans and coordinates the implementation of Human Resources programs Monitors implementation of the programs and develops recommendations and alternatives for future implementations
Responsible for payroll processing in accordance with facility policy and for training managers on time and attendance
Reviews corrective actions and terminations in order to verify their accordance with policy and past practice
Counsels management on the appropriate enforcement of policies and procedures and the manners in which to address employee performance
Responsible for oversight and processing of information of the Unemployment Insurance Agency
Handles employee concerns regarding co-workers, management or environmental factors
Intervenes when necessary with the goal of maintaining a tolerant, fair and professional working environment
Gathers and organizes data for various reporting purposes including payroll budgeting, staffing costs, and 401k reporting
Responsible for the HR Department's QAPI function and attends QAPI committee meetings
Processes garnishments, employee terminations and status changes
Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related. Minimum of 2 years of HR experience required. Experience in a Healthcare setting highly preferred. Strong knowledge of computers including MS Office. Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data. Must possess communication skills suited to a wide variety of audiences in both written and verbal capacities. Ability to recognize and process confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
