The Vice President of Lending & Collections plays a critical role in developing and implementing a consumer lending strategy at Vibe, ensuring the loan portfolio is well‑managed, compliant, and positioned for purpose‑driven growth. The role will balance growth, risk, and operational effectiveness through data‑driven decision‑making while reinforcing Vibe’s commitment to lending with a purpose. Working closely with the Chief Strategy and Operations Officer, this role provides senior leadership across underwriting, processing, product, and collections to foster strong collaboration and to deliver high‑quality member experiences across the consumer lending lifecycle.

This leader will drive innovation in lending practices, adopting innovative technologies and data‑driven strategies to enhance portfolio performance, member satisfaction, and overall financial growth. With the future of lending in credit unions rapidly evolving, the Vice President of Lending & Collections will play a key role in modernizing lending processes, building and mentoring a high‑performing team of analysts and risk professionals, collaborating across departments to enhance lending experiences and streamline operations, and developing forward‑thinking strategies that balance financial goals with risk tolerance.

In addition to overseeing loan portfolio management, the Vice President of Lending & Collections will foster collaboration across departments, ensuring the lending team works effectively with all areas of the credit union. They will also focus on employee development and ensure the team can handle the changing lending landscape.
